Thanks to Everyone Who Helped the Brecksville Chamber of Commerce in March!

Brecksville Patch is donating ad space for every local business that claimed its listing last month.

Brecksville Patch is giving $100 in advertising to the Brecksville Chamber of Commerce—and it’s because you stepped up to help! For every local business or nonprofit that claimed its listing in the month of March, Patch promised to donate advertising dollars to the nonprofit Brecksville Chamber of Commerce. Organizations like the Brecksville United Methodist Church, The Kiwanis Club of Brecksville and Lubrizol stepped up to the challenge. You can check their pages to see how active they’ve been, adding photos and events to their listings. Are you a local business owner who would like to claim his or her listing? It only takes minutes and it’s free. Check out this video for step-by-step instructions.

Business, Citizens of the Year Were Important to the Bicentennial Celebration

The winners were honored before Wednesday’s State of the City address.

This year’s Business and Citizens of the Year had one major thing in common: they were important supporters of the city’s bicentennial celebration. The Brecksville Chamber of Commerce honored The House of LaRose as its Business of the Year. The House of LaRose brought the Budweiser Clydesdales to the city for its bicentennial parade during Home Days. And the chamber named Frank DeWolf and Don Faulhaber, the co-chairs of the Bicentennial Committee, as its Citizens of the Year.
