New store opening in the renovated Brecksville Town Center on Feb. 15
Store is expected to open on Feb. 15.
The lights are on, the signs above the aisles are up and the shelves are stocked. The new Marc's is slated to open its doors in the renovated Brecksville Town Center on Feb. 15. A construction worker putting finishing touches on the space told Brecksville Patch that the opening is right on schedule. The only remaining task — besides stocking the fresh and frozen foods — is the sign on the front of the building at at 7510 Chippewa Rd. The store is opening in the space most-recently occupied by Giant Eagle. That grocery store closed in 2011. The space has been vacant since. The new Marc's store will be larger than the Giant Eagle was — interior renovations and construction gave Marc’s an additional 16,000 square feet for a total of 46,000 …

The new store will open later this month.
David’s for Men and Women closed the doors on its old store in the Brecksville Town Center on June 30, but they won’t be gone for long. The clothing store will re-open in mid-July across the street in the Creekview Commons plaza, said owner David Rosen. The new store will be located at 8495 Chippewa Road, right next to Lemonberry Frozen Yogurt. Rosen said the Brecksville Town Center shopping plaza has been going through a lot of changes, and he felt it was time for a smaller store. “It’s going to be the same great merchandise in a little more intimate space,” Rosen said.

The Brecksville Town Center shopping plaza is undergoing a number of changes this year. Earlier this week, we learned that K-SADES Outlet will be closing its doors this spring. In the meantime, how will these closings affect the residents? Will you have to travel further to do your shopping? Say goodbye to a favorite shop? Pay more for certain …

Construction is expected to wrap up by the end of the month.
The renovated Brecksville Town Center was officially unveiled Thursday morning amid the sounds of construction. Denise Blank, property manager at The Snider Company, said everything should be done by the end of November. Gregory W. Barrow, the vice president of construction services at Visconsi Companies Ltd., said the company studied the traffic patterns at the center when designing the renovations, and noticed that people liked to wander around a bit, visiting multiple stores. They incorporated that into the design, creating what looks like a collection of small shops. The renovations, which started with a …

The project began at the end of June.
The renovations at the Brecksville Town Center are in progress. Construction at the Brecksville Town Center began at the end of June, according to a press release from The Snider Company. The release noted that crews have been taking down the facades of the buildings at either end of the center and updating other areas like storm sewers. In June, Denise Blank, property manager at the Snider Company, said the renovations would make the center look more like a “main street” with distinctly different fronts for the businesses and stores. The center’s name also changed from the Brecksville Shopping Center to the Brecksville Town Center.
