Classical Winter Concert Set for Monday

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Community Band will perform some beloved holiday songs.

Interested in listening to all those Christmas classics the way they were supposed to be heard?  Now’s your chance as the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Community Band gears up for its annual winter concert next week. The band will feature a set of holiday favorites, along with a handful of popular concert band pieces.  For nearly 20 years, the 48-piece band has been entertaining audiences, and they are always looking for new talent, young and old, to join the diverse group, band director Patty Nemitz said.   The winter concert will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School.  The event is open to all ages and admission is free.
