Viewfinder: Breckville-Broadview Heights Wins Homecoming Game

The Bees football team played Amherst Friday night.

The Homecoming football game against Amherst Steele High School began at 7 p.m. at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Stadium. The final score was 43-14, with the Bees taking the win.

SADD Encourages Students to Think About Their Decisions

The group designed and passed out T-shirts to students who took that pledge.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School's Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) have developed a new slogan for the year, giving their peers a day-by-day goal to follow. The slogan is called “Tonight … Resist,” and it’s designed to inspire students to resist destructive choices, according to a press release from the Community Awareness and Prevention Association. The students made T-shirts based on a design by student Myles Rapkin. Throughout the week, the group encouraged students to sign a banner, pledging to resist, and to “like” the Community Awareness and Prevention Association on Facebook. Brecksville-Broadview Heights Kicks Off Homecoming Weekend

The celebration began with a parade on Brecksville Road on Thursday.

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Marching Band led students through Brecksville Road Thursday evening, beginning the high school’s Homecoming celebration. The Homecoming game against Amherst starts at 7 p.m. tonight at the high school. The football team has a preview of the game on its site now. According to the National Weather Service, the skies should stay clear for the game. Check here for the latest forecast.
