The man caught traveling through Brecksville with three-fourths of a pound of marijuana in his car was sentenced to three years in probation. Cuyahoga Common Pleas Judge John Sutula sentenced Kevin K. Robinson Jr., 28, of Oakwood Village, Wednesday morning. Robinson had pleaded guilty to drug trafficking, drug possession and possessing criminal tools in January. Robinson was pulled over Sept. 19 for a routine speeding violation on Brecksville Road, but wound up facing felony charges after police discovered the marijuana in the car, along with six bundles of cash totaling $6,100. The sentencing for a man caught traveling through Brecksville with three-fourths of a pound of marijuana in his car has been delayed. Kevin K. Robinson Jr., 28, of Oakwood Village, who pleaded guilty to several charges last month, is expected to be sentenced this week in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. He faces up to eight years in prison for charges of drug trafficking, drug possession and possessing criminal tools. Sentencing was rescheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Judge John Sutula’s courtroom. Robinson Jr., 28, of Oakwood Village, was pulled over Sept. 19 for a routine speeding violation on Brecksville Road, but wound up facing felony charges after police dicovered the marijuana in the car, along with six bundles fo cash totaling $6,100. His trial is set for 9 a.m. Jan. 16, according to Maria Russo, spokeswoman for Cuyahoga county Prosecutor Timothy J. McGinty.
