6 Years for Fourth Man Involved in Bridge Bomb Plot

Anthony Hayne was sentenced today.

A fourth man involved with the failed plot to blow up the state Route 82 bridge between Brecksville and Sagamore Hills has been sentenced.   The following information was provided by the United States District Court Northern District of Ohio: A representative of the court said Hayne would be under lifetime-supervised release after serving his sentence. The sentences for his three charges, including attempted use of an explosive, will be served concurrently. His special assessment cost was $300.  Hayne’s jail time is less than the other three men involved in the plot who have been sentenced so far, but the other terms of his sentencing are the same. Sentencing Delayed for Fourth Bridge Bomb Plot Suspect

WKYC reports that Anthony Hayne has withdrawn his guilty plea.

The sentencing for one of the men involved in a plot to blow up a state Route 82 bridge has been postponed, according to the United States District Court Northern District of Ohio. The sentencing for Anthony Hayne, of Cleveland, had been scheduled for Wednesday but has been rescheduled for Nov. 30.   WKYC reports that Hayne has withdrawn his guilty plea at this time. Up to 11 Years: Sentences Handed Down in Brecksville Bridge Bomb Plot

A federal judge gave three of the men involved their sentences today.

A federal judge has sentenced three of the men involved in a plot to blow up the state Route 82 bridge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  The following information was provided by the United States District Court Northern District of Ohio: All three men were charged for one count each of attempted use of an explosive, attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction to destroy a highway and conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction. The three men originally pleaded not guilty, but changed their pleas to guilty in September.  The representative of the court also said that the men would be under lifetime-supervised release after serving their sentences and the special assessment cost for all three was $300.
