Sentencing Slated for Convicted Marijuana Trafficker

Police found three-fourths of a pound of marijuana and $6,100 in his vehicle following a September traffic stop.

A man caught traveling through Brecksville with three-fourths of a pound of marijuana in his car pleaded guilty to a few charges last month. Kevin K. Robinson Jr., 28, of Oakwood Village, is expected to be sentenced this week in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court for charges of drug trafficking, drug possession and possessing criminal tools. He faces up to eight years in prison. Robinson was pulled over Sept. 19 for a routine speeding violation on Brecksville Road, but wound up facing felony charges after police discovered the marijuana in the car, along with six bundles of cash totaling $6,100.
