Utility Company Picks Wrong Lawn to Dig Up in Brecksville

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Property damage: A man in the 9700 block of Forge Drive told police that a utility company was digging in his yard on Aug. 6. The city’s building department showed up and agreed with the man that the company was digging on private property. The cable company officials filled and placed sod on the trench — as well as grass seed — and left.

Neighbor trouble: Two Royalton Road women, who are neighbors, got into a screaming match at around 7 p.m. Aug. 12. The argument seemed to stem from a dog on the loose.
