Wanted Man Turns Himself In To Police

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Warrant: A 19-year-old Brecksville man turned himself in to the Brecksville police on July 30 for an active arrest warrant for drug possession out of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office. He told Brecksville officers that he didn’t want to be “on the run,” so he agreed to turn himself in at the corner at Queens Way and Sherwood Trail. He was taken into custody without incident.

Drug charges: A 22-year-old Cleveland man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and driving without an driver’s license after a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 3 p.m. July 28. His passenger, a 26-year-old Cleveland man, was charged with possession of marijuana, after he was frisked and officers found a small bag of pot.

Warrant: A 32-year-old Strongsville man was taken into custody after Brecksville Police found he had an active arrest warrant out of the Berea Police Department, during a traffic stop on Brecksville Road at around noon July 28. He had been traveling 61 mph in a 25 mph zone.
